I went shooting today for the first time in my life... the nervousness of pulling the trigger the first time is nothing i felt before... my heart pounded and my figures cold, taking a deep breathe, "pull" watching the clay pigeon fly off the launcher, i watched and tracked it, once i pulled the trigger feeling the punch of the gun hit my shoulder and hearing the crack of the pin hitting the primer, hearing the bullets fling through the air, hearing them hit the leaves. As the clay pigeon still flew through the air in one piece i watched it hit the ground and shatter, i loaded another bullet and said "pull" taking another breathe i lifted the gun to my shoulder and pressed my cheek to the hard cold wood, i watched the clay pigeon fly across the air again, watched it and tracked it, pulled the trigger, feeling the gun hit my shoulder again i watched the clay pigeon fly to the ground in one piece yet again, i loaded the gun again and yelled "pull" this time i followed the clay pigeon till the start of it's descend, pulling the trigger again, and feeling the impact of the gun on my shoulder again, i looked and everything seemed to slow down at that point when finally the bullets caught up to that clay pigeon and shattered it into tiny little piece, a smile came to my face as i lowered the gun. i quickly switched my left shoulder to try that side, i loaded the gun, pressed the gun to my left shoulder and yelled "pull" watching the clay pigeon leave the launcher i watching and waited i pulled the trigger at it's descent, watching the pigeon shatter in the air i smiled again, i turned around and saw my dad and little brother smiling, then i saw behind them an old man who worked there and looked impressed so see someone new like me shooting like this.
later on my dad over heard the old man behind him talking to another man who worked there and said "This is the kids first time shooting and he's shooting from both shoulders, in all my time shooting i still can't do that shoot from both shoulders." when my dad told me that a big smile came to my face and laughed because i knew i had something special.
